The programme features late-romantic works by Theodor Albin Findeisen and Manuel de Falla, as well as modern compositions by Sergei Prokofiev, Darius Milhaud, Frank Proto, and Dana Klásková.

Performing are instructors of the International Music Courses: Marie Ladrová (theremin), Stanislav Mistr (tenor), Natalia Šumejko, Dana Klásková, Václav Polívka (violin), and Pavel Pospíšil (double bass), with Štěpánka Rohlíčková at the piano.

The closing concert of course graduates takes place on 26 July at 19:00. The concerts and courses were supported by Prague 8 Municipal District.

About the venue: Concert Hall ZUŠ Taussigova, Prague

The concert hall of the Základní umělecká škola (ZUŠ) Praha 8 in Kobylisy is used mainly for pupil recitals, graduation concerts and competitions. The school was founded in 1952 and underwent a major reconstruction between 2000 and 2005, gaining modern halls with purpose-designed acoustics. Alongside the concert hall, the school also has an orchestral hall; one of the spaces was recently refurbished as a multipurpose venue with newly designed spatial acoustics.

About: Marie Ladrová

Marie Ladrová is a Czech painter, multimedia artist, and musician. She graduated in 2012 from Milan Knížák's intermedia studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Her signature medium is watercolour — she works in large formats, produces her own natural pigments, and draws inspiration from dreams, fungi, and landscape. She also plays the theremin and teaches watercolour workshops at the National Gallery in Prague.
