Kino Volyně has operated since 2003 in a former brewery building, continuing a tradition of film screenings in Volyně dating back to the 1920s. In 2012 it underwent a full upgrade to digital DCI projection. The single-screen cinema is run by the municipal cultural organisation Volyňská kultura and offers a varied programme including Czech premieres. The venue also hosts theatre rehearsals, lectures, school screenings, and city council meetings.
