Chica Checa
Fifty-five-year-old Zdena leads an ordinary life as a rural postal worker - her house is falling apart, she keeps loneliness at bay with pickles and television. Her son Lukáš lives in France, successful and happy, or so it seems through the screen of an old computer, their only occasional contact.
When ninety-year-old grandmother Věra expresses her final wish - to see Helena Vondráčková - it seems like the whim of a dying woman. But Lukáš's return home brings a secret he has carefully guarded for years: he is gay and works as a drag queen named Chica Checa.
The attempt to fulfill grandmother's wish brings Lukáš and Zdena closer - and reveals that neither of them is living the life they truly want. Because when you stop lying to those closest to you, you must stop lying to yourself.
