Kino Metropol is the last classic single-screen cinema in Olomouc, founded in 1933 as Bio Sokol. Located in the historic city centre, it screens film premieres, festival hits, documentaries, and hosts live events such as theatre performances, concerts, and talk shows. It is a partner of the Academia Film Olomouc (AFO) and PAF festivals. In 2011 the foyer was renovated to include a cinema café and children's corner, and the cinema was fully digitised.
