About the venue

The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul on Petrov hill is Brno's most recognizable landmark and the seat of the local bishop. The Gothic structure was extensively rebuilt in neo-Gothic style around the turn of the 20th century; its twin towers rise 84 metres above the city. A curious local tradition: the noon bell rings at 11 a.m., dating back to the Thirty Years' War. The cathedral hosts regular services and occasional concerts.
