Galerie Závodný is a private gallery of modern art opened in 2011 in the historic centre of Mikulov. Its exhibition programme focuses on geometric, minimalist and conceptual art by Czech and international artists, including Czech artists who went into exile. The building, clad in white limestone from the Croatian island of Brač, won an award at the Grand Prix of Architects. The gallery also houses a café with a reading room and hosts chamber classical music concerts.
