About the venue

The Regional Museum in Mikulov occupies a Renaissance château that towers over the town's historic centre. Its permanent exhibitions cover the natural history and human history of southern Moravia, local winemaking traditions, and the life of the town's former Jewish community. The château was rebuilt after a fire in 1945 and is now one of the most important museum institutions in the region.
