Emauzský klášter

Prague

About the venue

Emauzy Abbey - formally the Abbey of Our Lady and the Slavic Patrons - was founded in 1347 by Charles IV to serve the Slavic liturgical rite. The Benedictine complex on Prague's New Town is instantly recognizable by its two concrete spires, built after the original Gothic towers were destroyed in a 1945 bombing raid. The monastery hosts cultural events alongside its ongoing religious life.
