Norbert Daniš - Ruah — Emauzský klášter, Prague

Slovak pianist and composer Norbert Daniš brings a solo piano concert RUAH to the Emauzy Monastery. On stage: just him, a concert grand piano, and soft light - no elaborate production, no effects.

The programme features new original compositions alongside beloved pieces from previous concerts. Norbert's music draws from the classical masters he grew up with - Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt - while reflecting contemporary composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, and Ólafur Arnalds. The title RUAH means breath, breeze, wind: the concert begins in silence and intimate tones, gradually building toward virtuosic and epic passages. The entire evening lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Norbert Daniš has been playing piano since age four and is a laureate of domestic and international competitions. He has completed masterclasses at home and abroad and became the first Slovak pianist to join the PETROF Art Family. The hall capacity is deliberately limited to preserve the intimacy between performer, instrument, and audience.
