About the venue

DRFG Arena (now Winning Group Arena) is the largest multi-purpose arena in Brno, designed by architect Ivan Ruller and opened in 1982 during the World Bowling Championship. It seats 7,700 for ice hockey and serves as the home of HC Kometa Brno. Beyond hockey, the venue hosts concerts, sports competitions and dance or ballet performances. A major renovation in 2010 brought the facilities up to modern standards, and the Kometa Pub Arena restaurant is part of the complex.
