About the venue

The Dominican monastery in České Budějovice is one of the oldest buildings in the city, with origins going back to the 13th century. The complex includes a Gothic church dedicated to the Presentation of the Virgin Mary and monastic buildings that served the Dominican order for centuries. Today it hosts cultural events, exhibitions and religious programmes.
