About the venue

The Gothic Cathedral of St Barbara in Kutná Hora ranks among the most striking medieval buildings in Bohemia and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. Construction began in the 14th century, with architects Matyáš Rejsek and Benedikt Ried among those who shaped its final form. Closely tied to the town's silver-mining wealth, the cathedral still holds religious services and occasional cultural events.
