The Czech Silver Museum in Kutná Hora is housed in the Gothic Hrádek (Barborská 28) and continues the tradition of the Archaeological Corps Vocel, founded in 1877. It manages over 170,000 collection items covering archaeology, numismatics, geology and mining technology. The main exhibitions comprise two tours – "Town of Silver" and "Road of Silver", the latter including a visit to the medieval mine in St. George's adit, descending to a depth of 40 m. The museum also operates expositions in the Stone House and Tyl House.
