About the venue

Chateau Boskovice is an Empire-style building constructed between 1819 and 1826 on the site of a 17th-century Dominican monastery. The Dietrichstein family commissioned the conversion; since 1843 the estate has belonged to the Mensdorff-Pouilly family, who reopened it to the public after restitution in 1991. The grandest room still functions as a concert hall seating 150, and the interiors feature fine stucco work and period furniture. An English-style park with rare trees and an arcaded greenhouse complete the complex.
