The Slezan textile factory complex in Frýdek-Místek is an industrial brownfield housed in the former Neumann brothers' spinning mill, whose roots go back to 1868. After the nationalisation and merger of the local textile plants, the site operated under the Slezan brand and at its peak employed up to five thousand people. Since May 2026 it has been open to the public as the Nová Osmička cultural and community centre, hosting concerts, exhibitions, festivals, an open-air cinema and sports events.
