Alfred Hitchcock was a British film director widely regarded as one of the most influential filmmakers in cinema history. A master of suspense and psychological thriller, his 1954 film Rear Window (Okno do dvora), starring James Stewart, remains one of his most celebrated works.

Anthony Perkins was an American actor best known for playing the disturbed Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960). He had earlier earned an Oscar nomination for Friendly Persuasion (1956), but the Bates role defined the rest of his career - he returned to it in three sequels.
