Martin Balsam was an American actor who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for A Thousand Clowns (1965). He appeared in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) as O. J. Berman. Throughout his career he was known for naturalistic performances in numerous Hollywood films and stage productions.
