The Prague Film Orchestra performs in Olomouc with a programme of film music conducted by conductor Jan Kučera. The stage will feature iconic melodies from Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and other film series.

The repertoire is built on the works of composers John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore and James Horner.

About the venue: Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc

A four-star congress hotel run by CPI Hotels, located directly opposite Olomouc's main railway station. It was built through a full reconstruction of the former Hotel Sigma and has 126 rooms and suites. The congress centre holds up to 1,400 delegates, with the main hall alone fitting 1,100 - making it one of the largest congress hotels in the country. The Benada restaurant serves Czech and international cuisine, and the wellness area includes a beer spa.

With over a hundred symphonic premieres to his name and a tenure as chief conductor of the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra (2015-2021), Jan Kučera ranks among the most active figures on the Czech classical scene. His own stage works - operas and ballets alike - are performed by leading Czech ensembles including the Czech Philharmonic and the National Theatre.
