Legend Petr Novák

A tribute concert celebrating the life and music of Petr Novák, one of the most distinctive Czech singers and songwriters, on the occasion of what would have been his 80th birthday. The evening features his songs performed by artists close to his work: Karel Kahovec, Viktor Sodoma, Petr Bende, Michal Pavlík (ex Čechomor), Josef IX. & Mina, and Slávek Janoušek. The band GEORGE & BEATOVENS, led by Karel Novák, will provide musical accompaniment - they accompanied Petr Novák for the last 15 years of his career. The evening also celebrates Ivo Plicka, Novák's longtime lyricist, who is turning 80. Moderator Zdeněk Vrba will guide the programme.

The concert will feature his greatest hits including "Hvězdičko blýskavá", "Klaunova zpověď", and "Náhrobní kámen", as well as a new song "Cesta za sluncem".
