A Hole in the Sky

A priest, a chef, and a mayor find themselves in a hole at the end of the world and try to turn it into something truly exceptional. But they're trapped in a remote village with no signal, no church, and no expectations - at least they have the largest collection of garden gnomes for miles around.

The mayor will do anything to find an investor. Her son secretly polishes pans in a Michelin restaurant and his ego on the internet. A mysterious head chef understands both vegetables and garden gnomes. Only the priest is normal - he preaches in stand-up comedy.

The idyllic picture is disrupted by the arrival of a bold and unexpectedly wealthy granddaughter, whose grandmother has her own plans for her native village. Hunters shoot at everything that moves, gnomes wallow in mud - but in the end, everything works out. An absurd comedy with a beautiful view of the future.
