The Natural History Museum, Department of Mineralogy and Petrology, and the National Museum Society invite all mineral enthusiasts - amateurs and experts alike - to an identification talk.

The programme features presentations on past and upcoming activities in the field, collectors' finds and discoveries shared by colleagues. National Museum staff will be available, as always, to help identify your own specimens.

About the venue: Muzejní komplex Národního muzea

The National Museum occupies two linked buildings at the top of Wenceslas Square. The neo-Renaissance main building, designed by Josef Schulz and opened in 1891, houses natural-science and history collections among the largest in the country. A thorough restoration finished in 2018 returned it to its original appearance after decades of wear.
