About the venue: Gauč na Výstavišti

Gauč na Výstavišti (formerly Gauč ve Stromovce) is a partly covered open-air summer venue in Stromovka park, Praha 7, with room for up to 800 standing or 350 seated guests. The programme runs from concerts and dance nights to summer cinema, theatre, quizzes and brunches. A bar and the adjacent Kolkovna restaurant are on site, and the space is available for private and corporate hire.

About: Tublatanka

Formed in Bratislava in 1982 by guitarist-vocalist Maťo Ďurinda and drummer Juraj Černý, Tublatanka rose to prominence as one of Czechoslovakia's leading hard rock acts during the 1980s. Their third album Žeravé znamenie osudu (1988) achieved sales of 250,000 copies, while their track "Pravda víťazí" gained recognition as an unofficial symbol of the Velvet Revolution. The trio of Ďurinda, Juraj Topor and Peter Schlosser released the album Uprostred chaosu in 2023 and maintains an active touring schedule throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
