dinn_sessions is a free series of intimate musical events focused on marginal and transgressive expression without genre boundaries. This year's third edition brings together Japanese freecore solo snare drumming, Moravian songwriting, and Silesian electronic underground.

RYOSUKE KIYASU is arguably the world's most renowned solo snare drum performer. His setup is deliberately austere - a small drum and a pair of sticks - and this very reduction allows him maximally concentrated expression at the edge of physical possibility. His sets are marked by extreme intensity and musical invention: in tense moments, Kiyasu attacks the drum, throws it to the ground, and movements that might appear purely performative actively transform the instrument's sound. He draws from the intersection of free jazz, noise, and grindcore on the Japanese scene, is a member of the legendary band Fushitsusha led by Keiji Haino, and has been touring almost continuously since 2003 - performing in 55 countries and participating in over 200 recordings. http://www.kiyasu.com/

MARTIN REŽNÝ is a key figure in the Ostrava noise and experimental-electronic scene. He plays modular synthesizers solo (project Säkkikangas) and in various improvised ensembles. His long-term musical and organizational work - the Hlukovae Mysteria cycle, dramaturgical involvement with the Bludný kámen collective - has led to numerous collaborations, including with Ryosuke Kiyasu. ONDŘEJ KYAS is a Czech composer with a broad range: from opera (he founded the Brno ensemble Ensemble Opera Diversa) through alternative rock and avant-folk to field recording and music pedagogy. He collaborates with creators as diverse as librettist Pavel Drábek and singer-songwriter Nikola Mucha.
