Ryosuke Kiyasu is a Japanese percussionist and improviser who performs solo on a single snare drum. Working at the intersection of free jazz, noise and grindcore, he strips his setup down to the bare minimum - one drum, a pair of sticks - and pushes the instrument to its physical limits. He is widely regarded as one of the most radical solo drummers active today.
