Battle of Pianos with Orchestra

The concert project Piano Duel returns in an expanded format - pianists Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek, two composers and lifelong friends, will sit at two pianos, and their musical dialogue will be accompanied by a symphony orchestra conducted by Jan Kučera.

The concert retains the signature qualities of Piano Duel: playfulness, improvisation, and direct interaction with the audience. Provocative questions will be posed - what would Beethoven's "Fate" sound like if he were an optimist? Are notes just crutches for the untalented? - and the answers form part of the programme.

The evening combines virtuosic performances, distinctive humour, and entertaining education, this time with a full symphony orchestra behind them.
