Lichočar is a Brno-based witchfolk band drawing from old stories and folklore of various countries. They combine acoustic guitar, cello, and mandolin with less conventional instruments - Irish bodhrán, shruti box, and jew's harp. The band is known for multi-part female vocals in different languages and dialects, with music created through group improvisation.

Morwëna is a five-member Brno band that describes its music as "definitely not a folk metal". Formed in 2020 from a Facebook ad and stabilized after several lineup changes into an alternative metal ensemble. Their sound is built on heavy guitar riffs, sharp violin melodies, and a combination of clean and extreme vocals. https://www.instagram.com/morwena_official/

The evening's guest is composer, conductor, and cellist Dominik Svoboda, who works on composition, arrangements, and orchestration, contributes to film and trailer music, and is currently developing his solo Cello Project. More at https://dominiksvoboda.com/
