Piknik Radia R 2026

After a year away, Piknik Radia R returns – a traditional student event bringing together Brno's alternative music scene. This time it takes place at a new venue: Melodka on Střelák.

Line-up:
- Hamn'seggs (fuck-pop) – "Powerful. Emotional. Uninhibited. Hamn'seggs will deliver an all-inclusive breakfast straight to your bed. They serve funky fuck-pop, punchy drums, and sweetness like a wedding night. Their performance will win the hearts of more than one person."
- Caramel (pop/rock/emo-rock) – Melancholic guys from Brno weaving sad lyrics with hard-hitting rhythms, balancing on the edge of emo rock, dark pop, and post-punk. They debuted with the EP Swans, which reflected the COVID-19 pandemic and the theme of lovers separated during lockdown. Their latest collaboration with artist Petrofski, "Russian Sleep Experiment," offers a glimpse into a cold windowless cell as an allegory for a dying relationship.
- SEBE (rap) – "Dirty rap from Žižkov continuing the age-old tradition of Czech hyena-ism. Frenzied verbal pogo on the remains of the scene, existential diarrhea, depression sweating through three days in the filthiest unfiltered underwear. Party Hard, shame harder."

Behind the event stands Radio R – an independent, community-run Brno radio station created mostly by students. By attending, you support both the radio and the Czech alternative music scene.
