About: Radek Baborák

Born in Pardubice, Radek Baborák ranks among the most respected horn players of his generation, having served as principal horn of the Czech, Munich and Berlin Philharmonics and performed under Seiji Ozawa, Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle. Today he appears both as soloist and conductor, leading the Baborák Ensemble and the Prague Chamber Soloists.

From the 2026 season, Baborák holds the title of honorary conductor of the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra in Mariánské Lázně, where he was chief conductor from 2021-2025.
