Special Children's Tour at Frýdlant Castle

A special children's tour route at the state castle Frýdlant is designed for the youngest visitors. In a simple and engaging way, it introduces children to how the castle functioned, explains the family coat of arms, who worked and lived there, and presents the rooms of the Castellan's Wing. Children will meet an unusual pet of the daughters of the castle's last owners, walk along the grand staircase, and visit the private quarters where the last mistress of the estate lived. The tour concludes in the children's room, where they can see the toys of the castle's children. Two interactive rooms are also prepared where visitors can touch the displayed objects, sit on a royal throne, hold a sword, and paint a picture as a souvenir. The tour lasts approximately 25 minutes, accommodates a maximum of 30 people at a time, and advance booking is not required. Admission is a flat rate of 120 CZK. Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket office. The site is managed by the National Heritage Institute.
