Transformations of Prague 2: Vyšehrad

Prague 2 is constantly changing - sometimes dramatically, sometimes in subtle details of everyday spaces. This guided walk will showcase selected locations that have undergone reconstruction, public space improvements, or other transformations in recent years.

Participants will learn about the history and present state of individual areas and how even small interventions can influence life on streets, in parks, and on squares. The walk will be led by Prague 2 councillor Tomáš Halva together with other members of the municipal leadership, who will explain not only the final appearance of these places but also the processes and connections behind their transformation.

Meeting point is at Táborská brána on Vyšehrad. Entry is free, but advance registration is required.
