Tantric Massage at nirvanaroom
Tantric massage is an activity shrouded in myth and mystery. Tantra is fundamentally a way of thinking - one that embraces sexual energy as a basic life force and teaches how to work with it consciously. Its roots reach back approximately 5,000 years to the Mohenjo-daro region (present-day southern Pakistan). Tantric massage itself is merely a taste of what tantra offers - a loving process of self-discovery, not tantra in its fullest sense.
At nirvanaroom, time is not tracked during the ritual. Two hours of ritual are guaranteed (hookah, conversation, shower, tea) plus three hours of physical touch. If possible, the session continues until the "proper" end - the longest ritual lasted 16 hours. After the massage, avoid scheduling any time-bound activities, ideally nothing at all.
The nirvanaroom space is deliberately close to everyday life: a massage mat on the floor, blankets, sarongs, massage oil, soft music, a safe and warm environment. Before and after the ritual, you can sleep on-site (separate room). Books on tantra are also available for browsing and borrowing, along with a film collection through which tantric ideas are well conveyed.
The ritual can be experienced once or repeatedly. For irregular sessions, vouchers can be purchased (minimum 14 days between massages; vouchers valid for six months); for regular sessions, a custom individual "tantric course" can be arranged. The instructor has been practising tantra for over 15 years - giving lectures, running workshops and festivals.
