An evening dedicated to Pietro Metastasio, the most significant opera librettist of his era, prepared by soprano and musicologist Zuzana Badárová (SK). Baroque arias and cantatas will be interwoven with the stories and fates that inspired their creation, through both music and spoken word.
Performers: Zuzana Badárová (SK) – soprano, Filip Hrubý – harpsichord, Michal Raitmajer – cello and viola da gamba, Kateřina Maňáková – lute, Martin Myšička (Dejvické divadlo Praha) – narration.
Bus transport to and from the venue is available. Departure from the Municipal Theatre at 17:30, return to the same location after the concert. Bus tickets must be purchased in advance together with concert tickets.
