Fish in Four

A bitter comedy about three elderly ladies and their servant, whose patience is slowly running out.

Sisters Karolína, Klementýna, and Cecílie are moving to their summer apartment again. What could go wrong? Perhaps only that the city is five kilometres away for shopping, the cook hasn't arrived yet, the old servant Rudolf has started coughing unpleasantly, and the rat poison in the medicine cabinet is running out… But the sisters don't mind: Karolína is a strict manager of the family estate, Klementýna is somewhat eccentric, and Cecílie is the youngest innocent, that is, the youngest… all the ladies are approaching eighty. A grotesque comedy with irony, tenderness, and detachment that explores old age, loneliness, self-interest, and relationships built on dependency.
