Battle of the Pianos in Litomyšl

A concert by the piano duo of Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek at the Smetana House in Litomyšl. Lifelong friends and composers have prepared an evening with two pianos, filled with musical jokes and playful questions.

How would Beethoven's "Fate" sound if he were an optimist? Why do we cry at banal film dialogue? What is "inappropriate" music? Can the "Battle of the Pianos" have a winner?

The performance takes place on W. Hoffmann Professional P206 concert pianos with support from C. Bechstein (www.bechstein.com).
