The Battle of Pianos comes to Rakovník on 2 December 2026 at the Kulturní Centrum, Na Sekyře 2377. Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek present a humorous concert for two pianos, filled with virtuosic playing and musical wit. The Kulturní Centrum Rakovník is a municipal cultural institution hosting concerts across multiple genres. This performance is one of nine Czech dates the two pianists and composers have scheduled for autumn and early winter 2026.

Kulturní centrum Rakovník is a municipal cultural organisation that drives the town's social and cultural life. About: Ondřej Brzobohatý

Born on 2 February 1983 in Prague, Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý is a multifaceted Czech artist trained at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in composition, piano and conducting. The son of actor Radoslav Brzobohatý and Slovak actress Hana Gregorová, he gained initial recognition as host of the first Czech Pop Idol season in 2004. His primary focus remains composition work - creating musicals, film scores and solo recordings - alongside regular performances with symphony orchestras and partnerships with major Czech musicians.

About: Ondřej Brousek

Born on 28 March 1981 in Prague, Ondřej Brousek is a Czech actor, musician, composer and director belonging to the renowned Brousek acting family. He completed his music-drama studies at the Prague Conservatory and has performed as keyboardist with Monkey Business since 1999, while serving as an ensemble member of Divadlo na Vinohradech from 2013 onwards. His compositional work encompasses stage music, film scores and symphonic compositions, including three symphonies premiered in Prague, Zlín and the Municipal House; he also performs with Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý in the two-piano programme "Souboj klavírů", which merges classical music with comedy and improvisation.
