Epydemye — Měšťanská Beseda, Pilsen

Epydemye is a folk and folk-rock band known for its distinctive voice on the contemporary folk and singer-songwriter scene. The group won the Anděl award in 2015 for the album Kotlina, a thematic record about the life stories of figures from 20th-century Czechoslovak history. Their 2019 album Milé děti was nominated for the Anděl. In 2021, the album Prosklený nebe was released, inspired by a stay in the Neratov church and produced by Dalibor Cidlinský with guest musician Josef Štěpánek. The band released their sixth studio album Dosebe in 2025, recorded by Yarda Helešic at the Svárov and Barrandov Sound studios.

Epydemye began twenty years ago at folk competitions and festivals, where they collected awards and the attention of programmers. Over time, they have performed at rock and multi-genre festivals such as Rock for People and Votvírák. Today they perform around eighty concerts a year and have recorded live performances for Czech Television and Czech Radio.
