A piano concert featuring music from all Harry Potter films, performed by candlelight. The programme includes compositions by John Williams (five-time Oscar winner), Patrick Doyle, Nicolas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat (Oscar winner), arranged for solo piano.

The main performer is Czech pianist Lucie Kubátová. During the European tour, she is alternated with František Panáček and Alexandr Starý.

The event is accessible from age 12. Tickets are available exclusively through the smsticket network - each participant must present a valid ticket.

About the venue: Měšťanská Beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.

About: Lucie Kubátová

Brno-based pianist Lucie Kubátová brings together classical training from JAMU and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with hands-on experience as a ballet répétiteur and teacher. Her candlelit piano evenings feature film music ranging from John Williams to Ludovico Einaudi.
