Sappers at the Guard Post

An interactive programme "Sappers at the Guard Post" takes you through the underground tunnels of Terezín Fortress and brings to life the daily routines of soldiers - sappers and artillerymen. By lantern light, you'll walk through mine corridors, learn to shoot from a rifle and cannon, and witness an underground mine detonation. Those interested can try on a military jacket, lie on a straw mattress, or use a historical latrine.

The programme lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. Tours start at 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, and 16:00.

Meet at Retranchement 5, Dukelských hrdinů 43, Terezín. Bring sturdy comfortable shoes and clothing that doesn't mind getting dirty.
