Description was written before the event

An exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, one of the most significant architects of the 20th century. The exhibition presents his architectural legacy and influence on the development of modern design.

About the venue: City Museum Brno

Muzeum města Brna is housed in Špilberk Castle, which has overlooked Brno from its hilltop since the 13th century. The castle served as a royal residence before becoming one of the most feared Habsburg prisons in Central Europe. Today it holds permanent exhibitions on the city's history alongside temporary shows, and its casemates - where political prisoners from across Europe were once held - draw visitors year-round.
