The Votice Local History Club cordially invites you to the book launch of "Vracím se domů" (I'm Coming Home) by Luisa Náhlovská, a native of Votice. The event takes place on Tuesday, September 15 at 6 p.m. in the monastery refectory.

About the venue: Votice Monastery

The former Franciscan monastery of St. Francis of Assisi in Votice is a Baroque monastic complex founded in 1627 by Count Sezima z Vrtby. Its current form dates from a major reconstruction in 1766–1771. After being seized by the communist secret police in 1950 and used for industrial purposes, the monastery was restored and reopened in 2015 as a cultural centre. Visitors can explore permanent exhibitions (Franciscan life, regional museum, pram and doll collection, Gallery of St. Francis), seasonal exhibitions, and cultural events.
