The Phenomenon of Nusle, a District Town near Prague — Nuselské schody, Prague

This walking tour explores the history of Nusle - what remains of Nusle Castle and why it was demolished, where coal barons gathered and how they spent their time. The main focus is one of Europe's largest industrial breweries: what beer was brewed here and where it was exported. For the first time, participants will visit the converted Nusle Brewery, view apartments in the former malt kiln, and descend into reconstructed cellars. The tour concludes with a visit to the interior of the Neo-Renaissance Sokol Hall.

Meeting point is directly under Nusle Stairs near the Chapel of the Holy Family; the tour ends at Nusle Sokol Hall. Duration is 1.5-2 hours. Guide: Josef Jiří Kos.

Children under 12 enter free. Tickets cannot be purchased on site. The tour is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Cancellation or rescheduling to another date is possible up to 24 hours before the start; you may also send a substitute who will register under your name.
