An exhibition of paintings by artist, illustrator and graphic designer Ivana Kubíková-Coubic at Libochovice Castle.

The artist studied at the Václav Hollar Secondary School of Applied Arts in Prague and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (illustration and applied graphics studio). She completed her training with lithography studies at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

Libochovice Chateau ranks among the most important early Baroque buildings in Bohemia and has been a national cultural monument since 2002. Its current form dates from 1682-1690, when Italian architect Antonio della Porta rebuilt an older Renaissance castle for Gundakar of Dietrichstein. The interiors hold collections of tapestries, glass and porcelain, and the guided tour focuses on the last noble owners - the Herberstein family. The chateau is also the birthplace of naturalist Jan Evangelista Purkyně, with a dedicated permanent exhibition. A large park with a French garden completes the grounds.
