Description was written before the event

The Atavists play Klub Alterna in Brno on 26 September 2026 in the A2stage hall. The Czech rock band, influenced by surf and stoner styles, brings its three-date Czech tour to Brno, with additional shows scheduled in Davle and Litomyšl. Alterna has operated since the 1990s as an alternative to the mainstream, and its intimate concert space suits this kind of music well. The evening features local support from Beach Bum, a Brno-based group playing alternative rock with punk roots. Venue address: Kounicova 506/48, Brno.

What's new

2026-03
The Atavists released in March 2026 the EP Hit So Hard - their first EP after three studio albums, recorded in Pardubice, Brussels and on Sumava in collaboration with Belgian producer Gregoire Chardon.
2026-03
For each of the five tracks of the EP, the band shot a separate music video; the title single Hit So Hard is accompanied by a video inspired by the aesthetics of black metal forest videos.
2026
In parallel with the EP, The Atavists are working on their fourth full-length album in a new lineup with drummer Marty Spruce; the foundations were created in 2025 in the Sono studio and the release is planned for autumn 2026.
