Petr Tomeček / Pan's Flute in Full Glory

Petr Tomeček performs a concert titled "Pan's Flute in Full Glory" at Husův sbor in Prostějov. The programme features well-known melodies across genres - including "Love Story", music from the film "Once Upon a Time in the West", and the theme from "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe". Between pieces, Tomeček speaks about the pan's flute and his own journey with this instrument.

Tomeček originally studied trumpet at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and performed with the Prague Castle Guard Band, the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. He studied pan's flute under Liselotte Rokyta and German virtuoso Ulrich Herkenhoffer; personal contact with Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir was also formative for him.
