A summer camp focused on narrative filmmaking for children aged 10-15. Participants will try out different roles in a film crew, learn to work with cameras, and tell stories using cinematic language - and each will take home their own film, from script to post-production. The programme is run by instructors from Studio Scala.

Dates: 24-28 August 2026, 9:00-16:00

Price: 3,700 CZK per person (includes full-day programme, lunches, snacks, drinks, and all materials and equipment).

About the venue: University Cinema Scala

Univerzitní kino Scala is a single-screen premiere cinema in the centre of Brno with a history dating back to 1929. Facing closure in 2011, it was saved by Masaryk University, which has operated it together with Aeropolis since 2013. With 475 seats and modern AV technology, it has repeatedly been named the most-visited single-screen cinema in the Czech Republic. Alongside films, it hosts lectures, conferences, festivals, and live broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera.
