A Midsummer Night's Dream
State Castle Červená Lhota, Kardašova Řečice
"I was out all night. Who is this? What was I even doing?" Welcome to the forest. Or the town square. Or in front of a bus. Because we're not just coming to perform. We're coming by bus. A theatre bus. An old one. Slightly worn. Slightly magical. And we'll perform on it. A Midsummer Night's Dream as a mobile party that parks near you and turns a parking lot into a forest full of fairies, hormones, and bad decisions. Shakespeare once wrote: "Everything blurs for me..." And we add: "Sure. Because when you fall in love with the wrong person, you wake up next to someone else, and meanwhile a bunch of actors are rehearsing a wedding on the bus roof, so everything blurs for you too."
A wedding is approaching. Hermia doesn't want it. Demetrius does. Helena wants more. The forest does what it wants. And during rehearsals we said to ourselves: "We'll study this strategically and obscenely." So no dusty classics. Live music. Original songs. Energy that vibrates through the bus metal. Theatre that comes to you and plays right from the hood.
One night. One ride. One parking lot transformed into the chaos of love.
The tour takes place as part of the OLDstars on the ROAD 2026 project.
