About the venue: Reduta Jazz Club

Reduta Jazz Club is the oldest jazz club in Prague, opened in 1957 on Národní street near the National Theatre. It gained worldwide fame when U.S. President Bill Clinton played saxophone here during a jam session in 1994. The programme features jazz, swing, Dixieland, blues, funk, soul and big band shows; the club has repeatedly been named among the Top 10 jazz clubs in Europe by The Guardian.

Chick Corea (1941–2021) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader, widely regarded as a key figure in jazz fusion and post-bop. He led the group Return to Forever and collaborated with Miles Davis. His compositions include the celebrated "Spain" and "500 Miles High".
