About the venue: Ungelt Theatre

Divadlo Ungelt is a private chamber theatre in Prague's Old Town, opened on 2 October 1995. It is housed in the cellar of a building within the Týn Courtyard (Ungelt) complex, whose Romanesque foundations date from the 11th century. The auditorium seats just under a hundred spectators, and the repertoire focuses on plays with two to four characters; the theatre's actors have repeatedly won the prestigious Cena Thálie award. Since 2005 it also runs an open-air summer stage on Nový Svět in Hradčany.

Born in Plzeň, Jiří Langmajer is one of the most recognisable faces of Czech theatre and screen - from Divadlo pod Palmovkou and the Shakespeare Festival at Prague Castle to his current home stage at Divadlo Ungelt. A Thalia Award winner, he has spent four decades building a reputation that spans comedy and drama with equal conviction.

Jiří Dvořák (born 1967, Brno) is a Czech theatre, film and television actor. He is widely known as the devil Uriáš in the fairy-tale film Anděl Páně (dir. Jiří Strach) and is one of the country's leading dubbing artists. In 2018 he won the Czech dancing competition StarDance. He made his Divadlo Ungelt debut in 2026 in the stage western Jak starý je Měsíc alongside Jiří Langmajer.
