From Šmukýrka to Cibulka

A guided walk through the history of Košíře, once a wine-growing region dotted with farmsteads. The tour stops at the hamlet of Šmukýrka, exploring its buildings including the Chapel of St. Prokop and its connection to the painter Mikolář Alš.

From there, the group heads to the Cibulka estate, which transformed over centuries into a romantic château with a forest park. Participants will learn about Blažej Cibulka and how Bishop Leopold Linhart Thun-Hohenstein reshaped the property. The tour also covers the present day - the spiritual legacy of its former owner and Cibulka's current role as a centre for children's palliative care.
