Mezipatra: Queer Generation - Behind and In Front of the Camera

A discussion focused on contemporary queer audiovisual production in the Czech Republic and Slovakia - examining representation, the stories filmmakers want to tell, and the obstacles the film industry presents to them. The conversation will also address why it is important for queer experience to have a place both behind and in front of the camera.

The debate is organized by the festival in collaboration with the OUTPITCH platform. Participants include director and screenwriter Gregor Valentovič, series screenwriter Vendula Hlásková, and film producer, activist, and member of the Open Society Foundation and Inakosť Initiative Nataša Jurčová Findrová.

The discussion will be held in Czech and Slovak.
